Alfa-Beet is a high-fibre feed combining alfalfa and unmolassed sugar beet, two sources of highly digestible fibre. Ideal for promoting weight gain and aiding hydration. Must be soaked before feeding to horses.

  • The combination of alfalfa and unmolassed sugar beet pulp provides ‘slow-release’ energy in the form of highly digestible fibre
  • Alfa-Beet promotes weight gain and condition without excitability
  • Provides 10.5MJ/kg of Digestible Energy – comparable to a cool mix or cube, but with much lower levels of starch
  • Alfa-Beet aids hydration and is ideal for horses and ponies with dental issues such as diastemas
  • Naturally low in starch (2%), with no added sugar (5%)
  • Sugar beet pulp is the fibrous part of the beet that is left once the sugar has been extracted which means it is a low sugar ingredient
  • Convenient 15-minute hot soak or 2-hour cold soak

Burringham, Gunness, Flixborough, Burton Upon Stather, Alkborough. Winterton, Appleby, Barton, Barrow, Goxhill, New Holland, Low Villages (Bonby, Saxby, Worlaby, Horkstow), Wootton, Ulceby, Bigby, Barnetby, Wrawby, Brigg.

Tuesday
Messingham, Scotter, Laughton, Blyton, Gainsborough, Corringham, Hemswell, Kirton.

Wednesday
Scunthorpe, Broughton, Brigg, Hibaldstow, Scawby.

Thursday
Brigg, Scunthorpe, Epworth, Belton, Ealand, Crowle.

Order by 10am for same day delivery, otherwise delivery will be made on the next available local delivery day.

We do not deliver locally on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

Raw (frozen) food will be left unless the weather is very hot (we will contact you if we need to reorganise delivery due to the weather).

You are welcome to leave a ice box or cool bag in which we can leave your frozen goods.
Regular customers often leave a labelled or named cool bag which we can take with us and deliver the next order in.

We offer no compensation for food that has thawed - if this is a concern, please feel free to collect the food from our store.

Once your order is placed, it will usually be ready to collect in 2 hours.

You should receive a notification when your order is ready to collect.

Orders received before 3pm Monday to Saturday and 1pm on Sunday will be available for collection the same day.

Collection is from our store at 171 Moorwell Road, Scunthorpe, DN17 2SX during store opening hours. Please bring your order confirmation when collecting your order.
